    Hi Admin,

I'm mostly using the AlwaysVPN service for listening to Pandora while working, and was hoping I might be able to get some specific instructions on how to route only traffic intended for Pandora via the VPN and have the rest go via my normal connection?

I have done some googling on this and was only able to find decent instructions for Viscosity (Mac OpenVPN client) users, but I am on Windows 7.

My apologies if this has been answered before on this forum, but I was unable to find any discussions about it.

    Thanks for your time!

It's actually fairly simple and this method should work on all platforms. You need to edit the alwaysvpn config file that you are using.

Remove the line that says "redirect-gateway def1" or just add a # sign in front of it to disable it (#redirect-gateway def1).
Then add lines in this format "route IP netmask" so for example if you just wanted to route our website over the VPN you would add
    route 67.207.148.162 255.255.255.255

Instead of using ip addresses you can also just use a hostname like this:
    route alwaysvpn.com

However this may not work properly for domain names that point to multiple IP addresses.
Unfortunately I can't provide you with a list of IP addresses for pandora. You will need to get these on your own.

Thank you for the quick reply!

Got it working. I will post the IP ranges that I used in case anyone else is trying to get it working (the list of IPs is probably going to always be changing I suppose?), hope that is okay. There was probably a way to do all the includes in one line as well, but this is working for now so I'm going to leave it :P

    #redirect-gateway def1
    route 208.85.40.0 255.255.255.0
    route 208.85.41.0 255.255.255.0
    route 208.85.42.0 255.255.255.0
    route 208.85.43.0 255.255.255.0
    route 208.85.44.0 255.255.255.0
    route 208.85.45.0 255.255.255.0
    route 208.85.46.0 255.255.255.0
    route 208.85.47.0 255.255.255.0
    route pandora.com

Or you could just use this one line to cover the entire cidr block:

    route 208.85.40.0 255.255.248.0

    This covers 208.85.40.0 - 208.85.47.255

    Hi,

I use alwaysvpn for my amazon kindle downloads. However recently with the new version of tunnelblick,i have problems accessing my account. As far I know, my account is still valid, but the instructions for tunnelblick are beyond me. I am a rudimentary user on Mac. Can anyone guide be step by step?

    Thanks
