The error "All TAP-Windows adapters on this system are currently in use." would indicate that either you have another VPN connection going or some other software is also using your TAP network adapter.

You could also try adding another TAP network adapter using these steps:

    1. Click on the start menu button
    2. Click on All Programs
    3. Find the TAP-Windows folder in the list
    4. Then the Utilities sub folder
    5. Click on Add a new TAP virtual ethernet adapter (if you are using windows vista or 7 or 8 you need to right click on this and select Run as administrator)

I tried to add a new TAP vitual ethernet adapter as per your instruction but it still doesn't connect.
I reinstalled alwaysvpn-windows-2.3 and I received a message "this windows version requires a digital signature for the driver from the manufacturer".
I guess that might be the reason why I having a failed connection.
Please advise how do I get a digital signature from AlwaysVPN.

The openvpn installer includes a signature for the tap network driver. Could you try downloading the installer again? It may have been corrupted.

Does the warning prompt give you any options?

Can you tell me what windows version you are using?

I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium version.
    Tried downloading the installer again.
Reinstalled AlwaysVPN and now everything is working well. Connection successful.
Thank you very much for your assistance.
